Wat Pho, a huge royal temple complex. Built from the 17th century, beautiful and famous for its 46m long and 15m high lying Buddha. Unfortunately, like almost every attraction, it has become overcrowded for tourists.
I tried Durian.
Khao San Road is a mixture of Asian kitsch, party location and backpackers from all over the world.
The „street kitchen” is everywhere on the streets, and delicious looking and exotic smelling dishes are prepared.
When planning our trip, we already knew that in January and February the prices will be higher and a lot of tourists will be on the road. We assumed that it would not be so bad and we tried out well-known tourist attractions.
